⚠️Important⚠️ App & Firmware update: Must be physically near SoCool
A new firmware update (v2.4.0) will be available Friday March 28th.
⚠️ Important: Please wait to install the update until you are physically near your device. Before completing the update, you may notice button labels that don’t match their actual functions. It’s important to complete this update as soon as you're able to ensure proper performance and a smooth experience.
We know this update isn’t the most convenient, but it’s a key step forward. To enable new features and improve how SoCool connects with the app, you’ll need to remove and re-pair your device.

What You’ll Need Before You Start
- Be physically near SoCool
- Your phone or tablet where the SmartLife app is installed
- Wi-Fi and Bluetooth turned on
- Your Wi-Fi password (you’ll need it to reconnect during setup)
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Accept and complete the firmware update
Step 2: Remove your existing device
This will remove the device and automatically place it into pairing mode.
Step 3: Re-pair your device
It may take up to a minute for the device to appear in the app.
If it doesn’t, press and hold the reset button on SoCool for approximately 5 seconds to enter pairing mode manually.
What’s New in the Updated Panel
A) You can now reset the meal counter directly from the app.
B) Audible alerts can be set individually for each meal.
The toggle for enabling or disabling meals has been removed—if you want to skip a meal, simply delete it from the list.
C) You now have the option to enable or disable auto-stop after the 5th (or final) meal is delivered. This feature is off by default. To turn it on, toggle "Stop Delivery After 5th Rotation" in the settings.
When this feature is disabled, SoCool will continue to rotate at all scheduled meal times, and the LED will remain blue regardless of how many meals have been served.
The previous "Audible Alert" toggle is currently disabled and will be removed from the panel in a future update.
D) Reset Button:
The function of the reset button remains the same, you can use either the physical button or the Reset Counter button in the app to reset the meal counter.
We’ve made one update: pressing the button no longer triggers a beep. Instead, the LED now turns bright cyan to indicate the button was successfully pressed.
If you plan to use the counter feature, please make sure the "Stop Delivery After 5th Rotation" toggle is turned on in the app settings.
